Exercise in pregnancy - to keep you on your toes

Exercise in pregnancy is high on the agenda, here at Muddy Plimsolls, due to a recent, happy development. Mrs Muddy Plimsolls has started prenatal training with me!

One particular focus in this first trimester, has been overcoming feelings of tiredness by using exercise as a means of energising the body.

If you are experiencing bouts of overwhelming tiredness during your pregnancy, we’ve discovered plenty of ways to feel re-energised through outdoor exercise. As a London personal trainer, I start a prenatal client off with a brisk walk in the park, so that I can assess the energy that she might have that day. We then explore an exercise programme that leaves her feeling more energised at the end of the session, than she felt at the beginning.

Pregnancy is a time when you can be bombarded with information, decisions and advice from others. So at Muddy Plimsolls, we keep our pre-natal sessions relaxed, friendly and stress-free. We believe that exercise – especially exercise in pregnancy – should be a way of finding some ‘me time’. An activity that rejuvenates you, setting you back on your feet, ready to continue perusing endless lists of baby names.
