The strength and conditioning programmes we use at Muddy Plimsolls are designed to develop muscle and improve all round athletic ability. The science behind our training system is derived from the National Academy of Sport Medicine’s Optimum Performance Training (NASM–OPT): the “gold standard” in fitness qualifications. Yet the heart of our system, has developed from our experience in the field – over 5,000 hours of one-to-one fitness coaching.
The equipment and techniques we favour are: high tensile resistance bands, bodyweight exercises and partner-based resistance. You’ll learn how to correctly perform pull ups, push ups, shoulder presses, weighted squats, and many other exercises designed to build strength, develop muscle and burn fat.
